Please join us in supporting our schools and our community!
We welcome new volunteers and appreciate any time or resources our volunteers are able to donate.
Whether for one hour, one day, or all year – La Center School District needs you!
Here are just a few ways to be involved and the time commitment needed:
An hour or less once a year: Volunteers guide students to their classrooms on the first day of school. No training or special skills required. Maps provided.
A few hours: Copy and assemble “First Day of School” student packets. No training or special skills required.
A half-day: Picture Day volunteers are needed to escort groups of students to/from their classrooms. No training or special skills required.
Evening opportunities: Our elementary school PTO and local booster organizations have a variety of opportunities that don’t necessarily require a daytime commitment. Please contact the organizations listed in the Volunteer Organizations Toggle for more information.
All of our volunteers must complete a volunteer application, view the Volunteer Orientation and Training Slideshows, and undergo a background check.
