La Center School District Web Privacy Statement

General Information

Thank you for reviewing our web privacy policy.  La Center School District (LCSD) (District) does not collect your personally identifiable information when you visit one of our sites unless you choose to provide that information to us.  This privacy policy applies only to the online activities of LCSD.

LCSD will collect personal information, which you knowingly and voluntarily provide to us by—for example—sending emails, completing information forms, registering for accounts or responding to surveys.  If you provide us with personal information, we may use it to respond to your inquiry or request.

Google Analytics

LCSD uses google analytics to collect information about site use.  Google analytics collects information like: how often users visit, what pages they visit, what sites they use prior to coming to our site.  We use the information we get from Google analytics only to improve the site.  Your name or other identifying information aren’t kept, only your IP address.  We do not combine the information Google analytics collects with personally identifiable information.  Google analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit LCSD sites, but the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google.  Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics are restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

The District will not be responsible for financial obligations arising through the unauthorized use of the system.
