Electronic Information System (K-20 Network)

Students in La Center School District will have access to the internet.  Parents who wish for their thild to not have access to the internet must provide a written statement to the school office.

In consideration for the privilege of usng a learning device and having access to public networks, parents release the La Center School District, the K-20 Network and other intermediary proviers, if any, and operators and any institutions with which they re affiliated from any and all claims and damages of any nature arising from student’s use, or inability to use the K-20 Network including, without limitation, the type and damages identified in the Electronic Resources policy 2022 and procedure 2022P.  The La Center School District provides the network system, email and internet as a tool for education and research in support of the district’s mission.  The district reserves the right to monitor, inspect, copy, review and release electronic messages as appropriate and all documents are subject to records disclosure laws of the state of Washington.
