Last week, Kennedy Kambeitz received a very special letter in the mail.  After library staff encouraged her to write a letter to President Obama, she received a very inspirational letter back along with a photograph of the President.

Remember: The only way your voice can be heard, is if you use it.

The President’s message read:

Dear Kennedy,
Thank you for your interest in the White House.  Hearing young people like you inspires me each and every day, and I am glad you took the time to share your thoughts.
As a Nation, we have no higher priority than making sure the doors of opportunity are wide open for you and your generation.  And as your President, that is a promise I will never stop working to keep.
In the years ahead, always remember that nothing is beyond your reach as long as you are willing to dream big and work hard.  If you stay focused on your education, I know there are no limits to what you can achieve.
Thank you again, for your kind note.  I wish you all the best.
