It was a great weekend to be a Wildcat Fan of athletics and activities!

1. The Girls BB team defeated Kalama for the District 4, 1A Championship! This qualified them as the Number 1 seed coming out of District 4. We will host Nooksack Valley at Battle Ground HS on Saturday, Feb 27 at 4 PM. Mark this on your calendars, if you can, and come support out student-athletes as they battle it out for a trip to Yakima to compete for a State Title.

2. The wrestling team had one medalist at State in the Tacoma Dome. Jeffrey Mayolo placed 5th at the 138 lb weight class. This is one placing better than he did last year.

3. Ashley Helmold performed at state on the Beam and the Vault. She was very nervous and did not perform as well as she would have liked. But, it was a true inspiration just to watch her.

4. The Unified Basketball season is officially over, unfortunately. They did not qualify for the Regional round. They did have a great 2nd game last Saturday in the District Tournament and lost by just a few points.

5. The Boys BB season is also officially over, unfortunately. Eatonville defeated us by 2 points last Thursday to eliminate us from the District tournament. They had a great season under first year head coach, Jeremy Ecklund.
