Photo courtesy of The Columbian/Adam Littman – The La Center High School Chess Team competed in the State Championship this weekend in Issaquah, Washington. The team finished 13th overall. Timm DiStefano, Chess Team Advisor, is proud of the team’s hard work and dedication, which lead to great improvements this year. The team is looking forward to returning to State competition in 2016. The team was recently featured in an article for The Columbian.
