La Center Alumni Returns to Discuss STEM

A few weeks ago, over 80 students in two sessions came to see 2007 La Center Graduate Ashley Cilen talk about her job at Tesla Motors, what it’s like to work there as a woman in a male dominated field and what education and experience she needed to get the job she has. As an added treat, Ashley brought along a new Tesla so the students could look at and sit in one of the innovative electric vehicles.
