Another Great Weekend for La Center Sports!

Our student-athletes had some huge successes again this past weekend!
Cross Country
The Girls and Boys XC team headed to Pasco on Friday for the XC State meet on Saturday. The Boys took 14th and the Girls took 2nd in State! The girls were only 3 points away from a state title. All the girls ran PR’s (personal records), which is extremely difficult to do at State.
Swim
Hailey Grotte and Bryanna Ungs placed 1st and 2nd in the 50m Free at Districts this weekend. Hailey set a meet record as well in this event. Hailey also placed 1st in the 100m Free. Both will compete at state this upcoming weekend and be leaving on Thursday.
Volleyball
The Wildcats are headed back to the SunDome in Yakima for State Volleyball after placing 2nd at Districts this past Saturday.
Football
We defeated Forks 49-12 this last Friday. The Wildcats will take on Mt. Baker in the first round of the State Gridiron Classic. It will take place this Friday, Nov 10 at Woodland HS at 7 pm.
