The La Center High School Chess team thoroughly defeated the staff in an 8-0 rout on Friday (3/6) during the Team Vs. Staff Chess Challenge. On the bright side (for the staff), all of the matches lasted more than 20 moves and Minna Thayer came closest to winning. But, in the end, the chess team proved victorious in every match. Great job!
